SUEZ secures a long-term power purchase agreement with Bouygues Telecom starting January 2027. The deal commits SUEZ to provide 53GWh per year of low-carbon energy from household waste recovery for 15 years, supporting Bouygues Telecom’s decarbonisation goals and SUEZ’s environmental performance strategy.
Bouygues Telecom plans to source 800GWh of renewable electricity through a PPA with SUEZ to meet its climate strategy and emission reduction goals. This partnership diversifies Bouygues Telecom’s PPA portfolio while ensuring a 24/7 power supply with guaranteed baseload electricity, enhancing long-term price visibility for all parties involved.
In addition to the agreement with Bouygues Telecom, SUEZ has signed a waste-to-energy PPA with French retailer Carrefour in early June 2025. This deal will see SUEZ providing renewable electricity to Carrefour’s stores in France starting in 2026, furthering SUEZ’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
