US President Donald Trump is urging the House to pass the GENIUS Act for US Stablecoins quickly. The Senate passed the bill in a 68-30 vote. The House, where Republicans have a slim majority, is next to vote. Supporters believe the bill will maintain US dollar dominance in global finance. Senator Bill Hagerty believes the bill will allow for nearly instant payments for businesses and Americans. The bill initially failed a cloture vote in response to Democratic opposition in May.
