GXO Logistics taps new CEO, clears acquisition of Wincanton

GXO Logistics Inc. announced a new CEO, Patrick Kelleher, who will start on Aug. 19. The company also received clearance from the UK CMA for its acquisition of Wincanton, with conditions for divesting some grocery contracts. The $1 billion acquisition is expected to boost GXO’s growth and revenue.
Kelleher brings 33 years of supply chain experience to GXO, coming from DHL where he served as CEO for North America. The integration of Wincanton is set to begin in the third quarter, with updates to full-year 2025 guidance including increased revenue growth and earnings projections.
GXO Logistics, a major contract logistics provider, has more than 150,000 team members across 1,000 facilities globally.
