Wall Street Journal: New Yelp Has Earned Its Extra Stars

Yelp has been in the online review business for 19 years and has seen significant growth in its Internet advertising revenue, generating over $1.2 billion a year. However, buying growth can be expensive for small tech companies. This growth is a tenfold increase from when Yelp went public in 2012, but still significantly less than what Google generates in ad revenue every two days.
