Thai stock market expected to open lower on Monday due to global uncertainty

The Thai stock market has been on a downward trend for seven consecutive sessions, dropping over 6.5 percent. The Stock Exchange of Thailand is expected to open lower on Monday due to negative global forecasts related to U.S. involvement in the Israel/Iran conflict. Despite finishing slightly lower on Friday, the index closed at 1,067.63, with 240 decliners and 218 gainers. The markets in Europe and the U.S. were mixed, leading to uncertainty in the Asian markets. Crude oil prices fell as U.S. involvement in the conflict waned, with West Texas Intermediate crude closing at $74.93 per barrel.
