Argo Infrastructure Partners will acquire gas storage and delivery assets in Hawaii from UGI’s AmeriGas Propane subsidiary. The deal includes 750,000 gallons of propane storage capacity and delivery vehicles serving residential and commercial customers on four Hawaiian islands. The transaction, expected to close in Q4 FY25, will further Argo’s presence in Hawaii’s energy infrastructure.
Isle Gas, a subsidiary of Argo, will be serviced by Hawaiʻi Gas post-acquisition. Hawaiʻi Gas, founded in 1904, is the only government-franchised gas company in Hawaii, supplying propane to over 34,000 non-utility customers statewide. Argo’s investment aims to support a resilient and energy-efficient future for the Hawaiian Islands.
Argo Infrastructure Partners’ managing partner, Jason Zibarras, emphasizes the company’s focus on investing in essential infrastructure assets. The addition of UGI’s gas storage and supply assets will enhance Argo’s operations in Hawaii, contributing to the state’s energy needs. Argo plans to provide capital and operational expertise to support Isle Gas in its operations.
