Polymetals Resources has started continuous production of silver-lead and zinc concentrates at its Endeavor mine in NSW, Australia. After an eight-month refurbishment, the processing plant is now operational with a capacity of 1.2mtpa, featuring crushing plants, ball mills, flotation circuits, and storage facilities.

The company plans to export zinc concentrate in 10,000dmt parcels and silver-lead concentrate in 5,000dmt parcels from Berth 29 in Adelaide. Polymetals’ executive chairman, Dave Sproule, expressed satisfaction with the refurbishment completion and addressed ongoing maintenance issues.

Endeavor mine, located 40km north of Cobar, is an underground operation acquired by Polymetals in 2023. Equipped with a 7km decline, 300m shaft, crusher, and essential safety equipment, the site also has extensive mine development, sealed access roads, rail infrastructure, power, and water supply.

In February, Polymetals Resources secured firm commitments to raise A$35m in equity for the Endeavor mine’s restart. The news was originally reported by Mining Technology, a GlobalData-owned brand.
