HD Hyundai has partnered with Tampa Ship to construct LNG dual-fuel containerships, set for delivery in 2028. HD Hyundai will assist with vessel design, equipment procurement, and shipbuilding technology. The collaboration aims to revitalize the US commercial shipbuilding industry and enhance national security. The partnership extends to exploring opportunities in different fleet classes and port equipment. Additionally, HD Hyundai has entered a Joint Development Project agreement with DNV and TUI Cruises to integrate SOFC systems on cruise vessels for reduced emissions and high efficiency.
