Wolfe Research believes Mastercard (MA) and Visa (V) are poised to benefit from agentic commerce after meeting with Mastercard’s Chief Digital Officer. The firm sees stablecoins as less risky than recent volatility suggests, especially for consumer card offerings. Wolfe sees the greatest risk from stablecoins in select cross-border B2B and remittance cases, not consumer payments disruption. Outperform rating for MasterCard with a $655 price target.
