Energy storage company Jinko ESS partners with METLEN to deploy over 3GWh of utility-scale battery energy storage systems in Chile and Europe. The deal aims to enhance grid stability and accelerate the clean energy transition, leveraging advanced technology and expertise. METLEN also secured engineering contracts in the UK worth £110m ($147.64m) for solar parks and BESS projects. In another development, Glenfarne acquired operational solar assets and BESS facilities in Chile from METLEN, totaling 588MW and 1.61GWh under construction. The collaboration signifies a commitment to advancing renewable energy through innovative storage solutions.
