Despite being classified as a large-cap stock, JNPR has seen an 8.1% dip from its 52-week high. Its stock has risen 1.3% in the past three months, falling behind iShares U.S. Telecommunications ETF’s 5.2% increase.

On a YTD basis, JNPR stock is down 2.4%, trailing IYZ’s 8.3% return. The company reported adjusted EPS of $0.43 and revenue of $1.3 billion in Q1 2025, exceeding forecasts with an 11% year-over-year revenue growth.

Analysts are cautious about JNPR’s prospects due to its underperformance compared to rival Cisco Systems, Inc. Despite a consensus rating of “Hold” from 10 analysts, the stock is trading below the mean price target of $40.
