Corebridge Financial has agreed to reinsure all variable annuities of its Individual Retirement business with CS Life Re, a subsidiary of Venerable Holdings. The account value totals $51B as of March 31, 2025. The $2.8B transaction will generate $2.1B in net proceeds for Corebridge, enabling accelerated capital management objectives and share repurchases. Stock is up 6% to $34.97.
