Indian sustainable packaging startup Bambrew secures $10.3m in funding led by Ashok Goel and ENRISSION INDIA CAPITAL. With 500 clients like Shoppers Stop and Puma, plans include doubling production, expanding to North America and the Middle East.
Founder Vaibhav Anant aims to use funding for research, manufacturing to replace plastic globally with bamboo fibre, seaweed, and recycled paper. Bambrew’s home-compostable products, such as garment bags and recyclable films, are eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics.
Co-founder Kunal Prasad looks to develop new products, enhance operations. Bambrew, shifting from B2B to D2C, offers sustainable packaging for consumers. Previously securing $7.19m in funding, the company plans to grow its team to support expansion efforts.
