UniFirst beats Q3 earnings expectations and raises full-year guidance

UniFirst (NYSE:UNF) shares dropped 3% despite beating Q3 earnings expectations. Adjusted EPS was $2.13, exceeding the $2.10 consensus. Revenue rose 1.2% to $610.8 million, slightly below estimates. Net income increased 4.3% to $39.7 million. Core Laundry Operations revenue grew 0.9% to $533.2 million, while First Aid segment saw a strong 9.1% growth.
UniFirst raised full-year earnings guidance to $7.60–$8.00 per share, up from prior estimates. Costs for key initiatives are now expected to be around $7.5 million for fiscal 2025. Revenue outlook remains at $2.422–$2.432 billion. Specialty Garments revenue increased 0.5% to $47.8 million.
