French software provider LumApps and Swiss peer Beekeeper announced a merger creating a new unicorn worth $1.1 billion, backed by British private equity group Bridgepoint. The new firm, headquartered in Lyon, will be led by LumApps CEO Sebastien Ricard and have 600 employees globally. Revenue is expected to double to $300 million by 2030. (Reuters)
