Sweco acquires PROgroup and +ImpaKT to boost circular economy services in Benelux

Sweco partners with PROgroup and +ImpaKT to enhance circular economy and sustainability services in the Benelux region. This deal brings 40 specialists to Sweco’s Luxembourg team, expanding its capabilities and project management services.

+ImpaKT’s expertise in circular economy consultancy will support Sweco in developing data-driven sustainability strategies. The company’s involvement in EU-backed initiatives like CIRPASS and Onto-DESIDE promotes digital tool development and compliance with circular economy standards.

PROgroup and +ImpaKT reported a combined turnover of €5.1m in 2024. Sweco, with a turnover of approximately €350m, plans to integrate the acquired companies immediately to strengthen its workforce of 22,000 experts.

These acquisitions align with Sweco’s strategy to enhance its services by incorporating key competencies that complement its existing expertise. The company aims to address the rising demand for circular business models and compliance with EU regulations on sustainability and governance.
