Constellation Brands Inc. expects aluminum tariffs to cost $20 million this fiscal year due to President Trump’s 50% duty on imported aluminum. The beer division, the company’s biggest moneymaker, faces pressure from rising costs and softening demand. CEO Bill Newlands noted a decrease in social occasions affecting beer consumption. Shares rose 4.3% in New York trading, reducing year-to-date decline to 31%.
