Olo is being acquired by Thoma Bravo for $2 billion in all-cash transaction

Olo has agreed to be acquired by Thoma Bravo in a $2 billion all-cash transaction, making Olo a private company by year-end. Despite recent struggles, Olo saw a 21% revenue growth in Q1. The deal is expected to accelerate Olo’s growth and enhance offerings for its 750+ brands globally.
Olo shareholders will receive $10.25 per share in cash, a 65% premium over unaffected share price. Olo’s acquisition is part of a trend in the tech industry, with DoorDash, The Access Group, and Serve Robotics also making significant acquisitions in the hospitality sector.
