Server sales are skyrocketing due to high demand for artificial intelligence (AI) servers, benefiting Intel’s server CPU business. While Intel has struggled in the AI accelerator market, its product lineup has improved significantly. Global server sales hit $250 billion in 2024, with IDC forecasting sales to reach $366 billion in 2025 and nearly $600 billion by 2029. Despite competition from AMD and Arm-based servers, Intel’s position in the server market is strong. With AI server sales expected to triple by 2029, Intel can capitalize on the booming demand for AI infrastructure.
