Blackstone Real Estate acquiring Sunseeker Resort in Florida for $200m, leveraging their expertise.

Blackstone Real Estate funds will acquire Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor in Florida for $200m from Allegiant Travel Company. The resort boasts 785 rooms, multiple dining options, pools, spa, fitness center, golf course, and meeting space. The deal is expected to finalize in Q3 2025, pending customary conditions.

Blackstone sees potential in Sunseeker’s amenities and plans to leverage their resort experience. Allegiant’s CEO believes Blackstone’s hospitality portfolio will enhance the resort’s growth. The sale proceeds will strengthen Allegiant’s balance sheet and support its airline-focused strategy.

Blackstone Real Estate recently acquired a majority stake in M3, a hospitality accounting software provider, in August 2024. In June 2024, they acquired Village Hotels from KSL Capital Partners. The financial details of the M3 acquisition were not disclosed. The Sunseeker deal was covered by Hotel Management Network.
