JPMorgan Strengthens Tech Team with Guggenheim Veteran

JPMorgan Chase hires Mike Amez from Guggenheim Securities to lead Mid-Cap Technology Services team in Chicago. Amez brings expertise in IT services, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure. The move follows recent hires from Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, and Lazard to strengthen the bank’s technology investment banking team on the West Coast.

JPMorgan is a key player in tech banking, working to expand sub-sector expertise. Recent deals include advising Global Payments on a $24.25 billion acquisition of Worldpay, Turn/River on a $4.4 billion take-private deal of SolarWinds, DoorDash on a $3.9 billion acquisition of Deliveroo, and CoreWeave on a $23 billion stock debut in March.
