Fortuna Mining Corp. Exceeds Production Goals, Sells Mines
Fortuna Mining Corp. reports Q2 2025 production results, including 61,736 ounces of gold from ongoing operations. Consolidated GEO production for the first half of 2025 totaled 179,409 ounces, meeting annual guidance of 309,000 to 339,000 GEO. Sale of San Jose and Yaramoko mines successfully completed, reinforcing the company’s solid performance.
In West Africa, Séguéla Mine in Côte d’Ivoire achieved 138,186 ounces of gold production in Q2 2025, on track to meet upper-end guidance. Mining operations extracted 340,426 tonnes of ore with a strip ratio of 15.3:1. Despite maintenance affecting processing, the mine exceeded throughput capacity by 36%.
Yaramoko Mine sale in Burkina Faso was completed in May 2025, with 4,721 ounces of gold produced in Q2 2025. The mine was handed over to Soleil Resources International Ltd., producing a total of 37,794 ounces of gold year to date. Fortuna no longer has operations in Burkina Faso.
In Latin America, Lindero Mine in Argentina produced 23,550 ounces of gold in Q2 2025, on track to meet annual production guidance. The mine’s crushing plant capacity enhancement project achieved a record throughput of 1,109 tonnes per hour in June. The 14.5 MWh photovoltaic plant contributed to cost efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
Caylloma Mine in Peru maintained strong operational performance, producing 9,493 gold equivalent ounces in Q2 2025. The mine extracted 136,078 tonnes of ore, leading to 240,621 ounces of silver production. Year-to-date production at Caylloma totaled 21,059 GEO, remaining consistent with planned mining sequences.
