AMPYR Australia secures funding for renewable energy project
AMPYR Australia secures over A$340m for 300MW/600MWh Wellington Stage 1 BESS project in NSW, Australia. Operational by 2026, project aims to increase renewable energy supply and lower electricity costs. Financing supported by multiple banking institutions. AMPYR plans to deliver 6GWh of energy storage projects by 2030, including Wellington Stage 2.
AMPYR partners with ZEN Energy Retail for a ten-year virtual PPA for 150MW of project output, offering flexibility in capacity contracts.
