German food manufacturer Oetker Group acquires local baking mixes and flours producer Kathi. Founded in 1951, Kathi employs 90 people in Halle, Saxony-Anhalt. Oetker aims to expand in eastern Germany with the deal. Kathi offers over 50 baking products, ready-to-eat pastries, and frozen cakes.
