Realkredit Danmark reported a net profit of DKK 2,455 million for the first half of 2025, showing an increase from the same period last year. Initiatives in the home finance area, such as the Danske BoligStart concept, aim to provide favorable conditions for customers aged 18-38. The company removed additional margins on new loans with interest-only periods up to 10 years and a loan-to-value ratio below 60%. The housing market outlook in Denmark remains positive, supported by strong economic indicators. Realkredit Danmark also saw an increase in commercial lending activity, particularly in residential rental properties. Construction activity in the commercial market is stabilizing, but more growth is needed in high-demand areas like Greater Copenhagen and Aarhus. The company continues to support green financing and energy improvements for customers. Net profit for 2025 is expected to match 2024 levels.
