EU antitrust regulators accepted Corning’s offer to end an investigation by waiving exclusive deals with mobile phone makers. The U.S. company counts Samsung, Sony, Google, HP, Dell, Nokia, and reportedly Apple as customers. Corning submitted concessions in November and agreed to waive exclusivity clauses for 9 years to avoid fines.
