Several high-profile figures in the crypto and blockchain industry are set to attend the signing of the GENIUS Act into law by US President Donald Trump. The Act, along with two other bills, were passed by the US House of Representatives after delays. Ripple, Circle, Chainlink Labs, Anchorage Digital, and Multicoin Capital executives confirmed their attendance at the ceremony. The stablecoin bill is expected to come into effect 18 months or 120 days after the US Treasury and Federal Reserve finalize regulations. The CLARITY Act and Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act still need to pass through the Senate before becoming law. Some House Democrats raised objections during the debate, but the bills were passed with support from both parties.
