In yesterday’s trading, 433 unusually active put options were identified, including 34 with high Vol/OI ratios. The goal is to find three potential cash-secured puts to generate $1,000 in income over the next 30-45 days. Companies considered must have a market cap of at least $1 billion, profitable quarters, and sales growth.
One of the picks is Palantir Technologies (PLTR), a potential trillion-dollar company with strong growth potential. Another pick is O’Reilly Automotive (ORLY), a successful aftermarket auto parts retailer focusing on share repurchases. Finally, Datadog (DDOG) is a tech stock with promising growth potential and positive analyst ratings.
For PLTR, a cash-secured put strategy is considered with an Aug. 29 $135 put option offering a potential annualized return of 35.7%. For ORLY, a $89.33 strike put expiring in 30 days offers an annualized return of 26.8%. For DDOG, a $130 strike put expiring on Aug. 15 generates a potential annualized return of 32.9%.
