Cryptocurrency investment products saw record-breaking inflows, totaling $4.4 billion for the trading week. Bitcoin surged past $122,000 before dropping to $116,000, ending the week at $120,000. Year-to-date inflows reached $27 billion, with total assets under management breaking $220 billion.
Ether ETPs set records, with inflows surpassing 2024 totals at $6.2 billion. Weekly inflows hit double the previous record at $2.12 billion. ETH surged past $3,500, after months of downward pressure that pushed it below $1,500 in April.
Bitcoin ETP inflows remained resilient, with $2.2 billion of inflows as BTC reached new all-time highs. Solana, XRP, and Sui also saw notable inflows totaling $39 million, $36 million, and $9.3 million, respectively.
Despite record-breaking inflows, some US issuers saw minor outflows. ARK Invest recorded the largest losses with total outflows of $120 million. Other US issuers like Fidelity Investments and ProShares experienced modest outflows of $49 million and $25 million, respectively. European issuer CoinShares also saw minor outflows of $25 million.
