Indian shares opened higher on Tuesday as exports crossed $300 billion in the first 9 months of 2021-22. The Sensex was up 42 points at 59,225, while the Nifty index was down 12 points at 17,613. Axis Bank, SBI Life, Power Grid Corp, NTPC, and ONGC saw gains of 1-2 percent. Future Retail surged 4 percent after approaching the Delhi High Court. HDFC slipped half a percent following a Q3 trading update, while Tata Power appointed a new CFO. Tata Motors fell 1.6 percent after a downgrade by CLSA.
