Rogers Communications Inc. reported a decrease in profit for the second quarter, but still beat Street estimates. The company’s bottom line totaled C$157 million, or C$0.29 per share, compared to C$394 million, or C$0.73 per share, last year. Excluding items, adjusted earnings were C$620 million or C$1.14 per share, beating analysts’ expectations of C$1.07 per share.
