Apple faces stiff competition in the Smartwatch market. The legal battle with Masimo carries potential financial and reputational consequences. Apple’s shares have only gone up 48.7% year to date compared with the Zacks Computer & Technology sector’s rally of 53.1%. Meanwhile, Alphabet and Garmin are pushing to strengthen their smartwatch offerings, posing a challenge to Apple.
