From Dow Jones & Company:
Wages for minimum-wage workers in half of the U.S. will increase in 2024, but it won’t be enough to keep up with the cost of living. However, minimum-wage workers in 20 states will still be stuck with the federal minimum wage of $7.25. Some experts believe the minimum wage should be around $20 an hour to truly cover living costs.
