Nebius boasts a 385% revenue increase year over year in Q1 to $55 million, with a projected annual revenue run rate of $750 million to $1 billion by year-end. Unlike CoreWeave, Nebius offers more than just AI hardware infrastructure, providing developer tools and services as well. The company’s healthy balance sheet, with $1.45 billion in cash and $188 million in debt, allows for continued investment in cloud infrastructure. Nebius is expected to deliver strong top-line growth and is seen as a leader in the cloud AI sector.

In comparison, CoreWeave is projected to reduce future lease liabilities by over $10 billion and achieve annual cost savings of $500 million by the end of 2027 after acquiring Core Scientific for $9 billion. CoreWeave’s revenue backlog stands at almost $26 billion, with a 63% increase over the previous year. The company is focused on expanding its data center capacity to support its growth trajectory. Nebius stock is more expensive than CoreWeave when considering sales multiples, making CoreWeave a more attractive investment option. With its rapid growth, significant backlog, and ample resources for expansion, CoreWeave is the preferred choice for investors looking to add AI stocks to their portfolios.
