Investment firm OneCompass Holdings has agreed to acquire carrier Koleaseco, Inc. The deal is set to close on Aug. 22. Koleaseco has 128 power units, 148 drivers, and a full-service brokerage for shippers in the U.S. and Canada. OneCompass plans to integrate Koleaseco under its portfolio company Hyway Transportation.
The merger will enhance both fleets’ competitiveness nationwide. Hyway Transportation, also an asset-based carrier, specializes in dryvan and temperature-controlled freight with 130 power units. Koleaseco owner JP Koop believes the transition will create opportunities for their team. OneCompass Chairman and CEO Matt Hartman looks forward to the integration and growth of both companies.
The move is expected to enable national growth for OneCompass and its portfolio companies. Koleaseco’s legacy of service and integrity for over 30 years will be carried forward in the transition. OneCompass aims to capitalize on the combined capabilities of Koleaseco and Hyway Transportation for mutual success.
