Kinross Gold Corporation (NYSE:KGC) has initiated a 2025 drilling program at the Riley Gold’s PWC Gold Project, aiming to find a large gold deposit near past major gold finds in the Cortez District. The project is being run by Kinross Gold U.S.A., a subsidiary of Kinross Gold Corporation.

Kinross plans to collect more soil samples in 2025 to explore a larger area for potential gold. A deal made on March 13, 2024, gives Kinross the chance to own up to 75% of Riley Gold’s PWC project by investing at least $20 million. Kinross is paying for and running the project and owns about 10% of Riley Gold.
