Japan stocks closed lower on Monday, with the Nikkei 225 down 0.23%. Rakuten Inc and CyberAgent Inc were among the top performers, while Idemitsu Kosan Co Ltd and Pacific Metals Co., Ltd. were among the worst performers. The volatility index, crude oil, and gold futures also saw changes. USD/JPY remained unchanged while the US Dollar Index Futures was up.
