MonotaRO Co., Ltd. reported an increase in net income for the first half, with a rise to 15.42 billion yen from 12.16 billion yen last year. Earnings per share also increased to 31.03 yen from 25.15 yen. Operating income climbed to 21.88 billion yen from 17.73 billion yen, while net sales rose to 160.23 billion yen from 139.40 billion yen. The company noted positive signs of economic recovery in Japan, but cited uncertainties due to U.S. tariff policies, rising raw material costs, and geopolitical instability. MonotaRO stock closed 0.75% higher at JPY 2,704 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
