Beazer Homes USA, Inc. reported a net loss of $0.3 million in the third quarter, compared to a net income of $27.2 million last year. Net sales decreased to $545.4 million from $595.7 million. The loss was due to an impairment charge, weaker margins, fewer closings, and lower operating leverage. BZH closed at $23.50 on Thursday, up 0.34%, but dropped to $21.99 after hours, down 6.43% on the NYSE.
