Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.60% By Investing.com

Israel stocks closed higher on Monday with the TA 35 gaining 1.60%. Top performers included OPC Energy Ltd, Azrieli Group Ltd, and Big Shopping Centers Ltd, while Newmed Energy LP and First International Bank of Israel Ltd were among the worst performers.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by a wide margin of 422 to 72, with 43 ending unchanged. Azrieli Group Ltd and Big Shopping Centers Ltd both reached 52-week highs, with gains of 6.52% and 4.92% respectively.
In commodities trading, crude oil for February delivery fell to $71.33 a barrel, while Brent oil for March delivery dropped to $77.07 a barrel. The February Gold Futures contract fell to $2,071.80 a troy ounce.
The USD/ILS pair was up 0.62% at 3.62, while the EUR/ILS pair rose 0.31% to 4.00. The US Dollar Index Futures also rose 0.15% to 101.06.
