In June 2025, Nissan’s global sales dropped by 5% to 262,133 vehicles, with domestic and overseas volumes weaker. Sales in Japan fell by 3.7% to 35,035 units, while overseas deliveries declined by 5.1% to 227,098 units.

For the first half of 2025, Nissan’s global sales decreased by 5.7% to 1,613,797 units. Sales in Japan fell by over 10% to 220,420 units, while overseas sales declined by almost 5% to 1,393,377 units.

China saw a nearly 18% drop in Nissan sales in 2025, while Europe experienced a 4.1% decline. North America saw a 1.6% increase, with the U.S. experiencing a slight decline, offset by rises in Mexico and Canada. Other markets combined saw a nearly 6% decrease.

Global production for Nissan dropped by almost 11% to 1,439,040 units in the first half of 2025. Japanese output fell by over 11%, while overseas production dropped by just under 11%, driven by declines in China and the U.S. UK production fell by 19% to 108,541 units.

Year-to-date, exports from Japan decreased by 18%, with shipments to North America falling by 34% and exports to Europe plunging by over 37%. However, exports to other markets increased by 14.5% to 75,973 units.
