Amphenol Corp. will acquire CommScope Holding Co.’s Connectivity and Cable Solutions business for $10.5 billion in cash. The acquisition will also diversify Amphenol’s portfolio in communications networks and industrial markets. The deal is expected to boost Amphenol’s earnings per share in the first year after closing, excluding acquisition costs. Financing will come from cash on hand and debt, with support from J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, BNP Paribas, and Mizuho Bank, Ltd. The transaction is set to close in the first half of 2026, pending regulatory approvals.
