US manufacturer B&G Foods sells Le Sueur brand, known for sweet peas, green beans, and carrots, to McCall Farms. Proceeds will repay debt and fund business assets. Transaction excludes Canada. B&G Foods also divested Don Pepino and Sclafani brands to Violet Foods in May. Sale follows $320m impairment charges in 2024.

B&G Foods initially projected $1.89bn to $1.95bn in net sales for fiscal 2025 but revised downward in May to $1.86bn to $1.91bn. First quarter report showed 10.5% decline in total net sales. Frozen & Vegetable segment, including Le Sueur, saw 11.2% decrease in net sales. Company experienced deeper financial losses last year.
