Hong Kong Shares Tipped To Open Under Pressure

Volatility at the Hong Kong stock market as it closed lower Tuesday after three days of gains. This is due to the tech and oil stocks leading the retreat in the market as oil becomes a cause of concern with escalating Middle East tensions. The Dow eked out small gains and apple stock closes at over a month low over a Barclays downgrade. Prices for oil surged then dramatically fell by $1.27 in one day – selling at $70.38 a barrel. Apple stock fell 3.6% after a rating downgrade. The cashing in on recent strength is the reason for the broader market weakness.
