Halliburton wins contract for the NEP carbon capture project in the UK, providing completions and monitoring services. Equipment will be made in Scotland. NEP aims to store up to 4 million tonnes of CO₂ annually. JV partners Equinor, bp, and TotalEnergies will manage CO₂ transport and storage for Teesside and Humber industrial clusters.

The NEP infrastructure includes a CO₂ collection network, compression facilities, offshore pipeline, and subsea injection systems. Halliburton’s expertise will support this groundbreaking carbon storage project. The company also secured a five-year contract with Repsol in the UK North Sea. Halliburton looks forward to delivering services for the NEP project.
