Great-West Lifeco Inc. reported a drop in earnings for the second quarter compared to the same period last year. The company’s earnings totaled C$894 million, or C$0.96 per share, down from C$1.005 billion, or C$1.08 per share, last year. The GAAP earnings show a decrease in earnings from C$1.005 billion to C$894 million, and a decrease in EPS from C$1.08 to C$0.96 compared to last year.
