ESPN is launching its new flagship streaming service on Aug. 21, offering live sports content including NFL and college football. The app will cost $29.99 a month, or $35.99 bundled with Disney’s other services. It will feature live games, programming from ESPN networks, fantasy products, betting tie-ins, and more.

ESPN signed a deal with WWE for U.S. rights to WrestleMania and other events starting in 2026, paying $325 million annually. They also reached a deal with the NFL, with the league taking a 10% equity stake in ESPN. Disney reported quarterly earnings that surpassed analyst expectations but fell short in revenue.
