US ride-hailing company Lyft saw an 11% YoY revenue increase to $1.6bn in Q2 2025, with record rides, gross bookings, and cash flow. Rides grew 14% to 234.8 million, active riders rose 10% to 26.1 million, and gross bookings hit $4.5bn. Net income reached $40.3m, up from $5.0m in Q2 2024.
Lyft posted record free cash flow of $329.4m, an increase from $256.4m in Q2 2024. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $129.4m, up 26% from the previous year. The company repurchased 12.8 million shares for $200m and announced new partnerships with United Airlines and Benteler Mobility.
Looking ahead, Lyft forecasts rides growth in the mid-teens YoY for Q3, with gross bookings expected between $4.65bn and $4.80bn. Adjusted EBITDA is estimated to be $125m to $145m, with the recent Freenow acquisition expected to contribute to results. A collaboration with Baidu aims to introduce robotaxis in Europe. CEO David Risher noted the company’s expanding marketplace and strategic partnerships.
