Disney’s fiscal third-quarter results were not particularly notable, but strong entertainment streaming growth and profits offset lackluster sports results and streaming sales. Experiences operating income increased 13% year over year, driven by a new cruise ship launch and strong domestic results. With additional cruise ships planned, Disney’s experiences business remains strong. Recent developments, such as the NFL deal and streaming service launches, are expected to enhance Disney’s streaming prospects.
