The SEC waived Ripple’s disqualification, allowing the crypto firm to raise funds through institutions. Previously, Ripple was penalized over $125 million for violating securities laws by selling XRP to institutional clients. Despite dropping appeals, an injunction prevented Ripple from raising funds this way until now. XRP price rose 6.5% to $3.31.
